At the beginning of 2009, Detune were both humbled and complimented by a request from Baros Maldives Resort to provide music and entertainment for the distinguished guests at the resort’s New Year 2010 Festival. Already performing regularly on Tuesdays at the resort (and since the latter part of the year now also performing on alternate Saturdays), the festive celebrations began around 10pm New Years Eve on a stage expertly and accurately prepared by Baros to specifications suggested by Detune.

With just a short break to celebrate the New Year countdown, Detune then continued the performance unbroken until 4.30am - almost 6 1/2 hours of continuous entertainment very much appreciated by the resort and guests alike. Thanks to the immense support of the Baros Management Team, the band had without doubt the most rewarding and fun-filled night of their performing careers to date.
